Rentals
Branch 79, Simcoe offers the public one of the largest banquet halls in the community with accessible parking, a commercial kitchen, bar, and stage. The facility’s lower level features a large clubroom and meeting rooms with accessible washrooms and elevator from the Metcalfe Street entrance.

*All celebrations of life are offered by the Simcoe Legion at no charge (donations are appreciated).
*Rental discounts may be given by the Simcoe Legion to charitable / non-profit organizations following a formal request to the Branch Executive.
Sgt. Frederick Hobson, VC Memorial Hall
Located on the upper level of Branch 79, this space is licensed for 265 people and includes a dance floor with stage. The bar is located beside the commercial kitchen which services both the upper and lower levels of the facility. The Memorial Hall can be booked on its own or with bar and/or kitchen use. This space is ideal for weddings, receptions, fundraising events, and concerts. Prices are dependent on specific needs and can be discussed further with the Bookings Chair.
Clubroom
Located on the lower level of Branch 79, this space is licensed for 225 people. The Clubroom offers the public with a unique pub-like atmosphere and features modern lighting, bar, dance floor and raised band platform ideal for larger gatherings and celebrations. Availability is dependent on Branch 79 usage and can be discussed, along with rental fees, with the Bookings Chair.
Meeting Room
Located on the lower level, off the Clubroom, this space is licensed for 65 people. Regular fixtures include 3’ diameter tables and cushioned chairs. Alternate tables/chairs can be provided. Access to the Clubroom bar is directly opposite the room entrance. This space is often rented for birthday, anniversary, and retirement parties. Rental times and fees can be discussed with the Bookings Chair.
Memorial Room
Located on the lower level, off the Clubroom, this space is licensed for 65 people. The Memorial Room features displays on local military history, gallery, and small reference library. There is direct access to the commercial kitchen and the Clubroom bar is located directly opposite the room entrance. Tables and chairs can be added as needed. This space is often rented for meetings and small gatherings. Rental times and fees can be discussed with the Bookings Chair.
Holden Room
This space is currently rented on a long-term basis by the Haldimand Norfolk London Learning Centre.
