In 2026, the Simcoe Legion will proudly mark its centennial, celebrating 100 years since its inception as the 79th Branch in Ontario. This significant milestone will see the Simcoe Legion join Royal Canadian Legion Branches nationwide in commemorating a century of dedicated service.

Throughout the year, the Executive and membership are set to host a series of special events, inviting the community to partake in the celebrations. Looking ahead, the Simcoe Legion remains steadfast in its core mission: continuing to support Veterans, actively promoting remembrance, and providing a welcoming community space for connection and celebration for many more years to come.
